Less than a week ahead of Lebanon’s parliamentary elections, the main roads and roundabouts in the country’s north are splattered with slogans and self-confident smiles - but few seem to have won over voters in Sunni-majority districts. That’s cause for concern for anti-Hezbollah candidates, who fear that widespread disillusionment and the splintering of the traditional Sunni political leadership could pave the way for Hezbollah-aligned candidates to score.
